All About the Plot
The plot of this stunning theatre show is ridden with serious themes intertwined in an interesting, somewhat philosophical story. And the crass humour certainly makes it unique.
It follows the lives of two missionaries who are a part of Latter Day Saints and are trying to spread the teachings and commanders of the same. The names of these missionaries are Elder Price and Elder Cunnigham. And the place where they're working is a very small town in Uganda. However, as they try to complete their mission, they learn that the people living in the town are more concerned with other matters.
Oppression, the spread of AIDS pandemic, and poverty are just some of the things that concern the residents. These serious themes are highlighted in the entire play and make it extremely riveting for adult audiences.
However, you must keep something in mind whenever you decide to go and watch this spectacular show. The series is not always sensitive to all audiences, if you've watched even a single episode of South Park.
There are crass and often offensive jokes, but they're all only meant to keep the audience entertained and push a deeper message. Knowing this, it might not be a good idea to watch this show with kids. But you can always treat yourself, your partner, or even your friends to this brilliant production.
